The Power of Story Telling

  • Why do some movies are predominantly successful than others?
  • How is it possible for some speakers to keep the audience intact throughout his session?
  • Why do we instantly go ahead in donating money for some without giving a second thought?

The answer for all these is just because they are the best storytellers. When they say a story, we visualize the character and at times we become one of the main characters. The storyteller must first grab the attention of the audience by developing a tension during the narrative.

If the story is able to create that tension then it is likely that attentive viewers/listeners will come to share the emotions of the characters in it, and after it ends, likely to continue mimicking the feelings and behaviors of those characters. So,

  • Why do some movies are predominantly successful than others? :  The directors are the best story tellers.
  • How is it possible for some speakers to keep the audience intact throughout his session? : They are Sensational Speakers
  • Why do we instantly go ahead in donating money for some without giving a second thought? : We get moved by the sufferings narrated by the needy
